I was born in "Everton" a small part of Liverpool in 1944.

I got my first Standard 8 Cine Camera when I was about 16 years old... I can still remember the name "Jelco 6".
I've been making "Home Movies" for over 44 years from using a clock-work cine camera (std 8) going through all the stages of advancing technology up to DV cams excluding using a PC as a tool for editing etc. I had to learn that from scratch (what a learning curve...jeeze) that was 2001/2002.
Since getting my first copy of Poser animation software I've been driven to make a 3D animation movie. My first attempt, "GATSO GUNN", has taken me three years to put together with the help of Vue D'esprit/Vue infinite...cinema 4d..Premiere pro...and of course Poser 6.
Now that I've found my love for 3d animation my camera has all but become defunct... Just used for holidays.
I love the ability to create new worlds and new environments to place my own "actors" in without the hassle of organising family and friends to take part in your camera run projects.
I obviously hope that the quality of my work will improve to a much higher standard in my future films.
